Heritage Park has a quiet calm, where you can open the front door to the sounds of birds, or glance up and see the trees of the vast Darling Range beyond.Look around you at Heritage Park and you will see horses, lots of horses. The most recent owner of this property ran the Maramunup Lodge, a complex for breeding and training endurance horses. This has long been a favourite location for assignment, with equestrian courses and bridle paths scattered throughout the area. Theres an unmistakable feeling of grace and sense of openness that captures the imagination.

The developers are committed to the protection and rehabilitation of natural plants and wildlife. All care has been taken in the allocation of adequate open space and natural bushland, including the careful selection of plant species for all communal open spaces. Walk trails are also proposed for the natural bushland, with a minimum impact on existing flora and fauna.
This whole area was once a dairy farm owned by the McDonald family, and it still has that same country feel. A short bush trail walk to the rear of Heritage Park leads to Maramunup Pool, a haven for a large variety of wildlife including ducks, water fowl and white ibis, as well as gilgies (small marron).
